How to Create a New User
New users can be easily created within the Perspio UI by any tenant administrator.
Here are the steps to add a user in Perspio, assign the appropriate permissions, and configure the correct profile for that user.
1. Click on Admin

2. Click on Users

3. Click on Add User

4. Fill User Details
Fill the details accurately and click Next. Perspio does not allow the creation of general admin users, all users must be personal and untransferable. This is especially critical for Perspio to maintain accurate Audit Logs.

5. Choose the correct Profile
Choosing the correct profile is critical to ensure the user only access what he is supposed to.
It is also possible to customize access to specific modules by choosing the Custom Profile.

IMPORTANT: Admin - View Only Profiles can't have restricted view. Meaning that all Admin users will have access to the full asset's database.
6. Custom Profile
On Custom Profile, you can choose the level of access (read or write) for each module or disable it entirely by turning it off.

7. Security Groups
Last step is to select which Assets the user will have access to. By standard, no access is selected to avoid making mistakes. A user can have access to All Objects or Restricted Objects Access.

8. User created
This screen confirms that the user has been successfully created.
